Psychologist, Daniel Kahneman’s hypothesised that the “psychological present” is a window of about 3-seconds – everything else is either past or future. That leaves one with an extremely short window in which to frame thought and due to an accumulation of negative self-learning, the majority of these thoughts are repetitive and a Growth-Inhibiting 80% are considered negative chatter.

Who’s Teaching this Course?
My name is Munira Van der Zijl and I will be the one leading this course. I’m an experienced mindfulness, yoga and meditation teacher with over 15-years of experience in the well-being sector. I not only offer a bespoke learning environment that’s both warm and inviting for everyone who joins, but I also deeply focus on the integration of these 3 key values as well: inclusivity, integrity and compassion.
I have been trained in integrated mindfulness and compassion thanks to the teachings of Erik van den Brik. I also enjoy being supported and trusted by local schools, GP’s and other healthcare professionals. I adhere to the Mindfulness UK Good Practice guidelines and I’m also regularly invited to offer mindfulness instruction in various workplace settings.
